A touch of Romania is a different kind of book from what I published so far.

First, I never planned for it to happen.

I always focused on my travels outside Romania and thought to build books from these travels to showcase the things I saw.

However, what’s closer than home? On many weekends I just get in the car, grab my camera and wander and sometimes I return home with a picture.

This album is not a “Best of Romania” kind of album but rather an album that features pictures I took in the last years travelling the country.

These are pictures that I enjoyed and most of all these are pictures that were easy to take.

Most of them were taken from the road, close to the car, not deep into the mountains or in the middle of the lakes.

I think I wanted to showcase that decent pictures can be found everywhere regardless of the time of the day or the season.

The basis of the book was an article I wrote for an online magazine, an srticle focused on fog and mist during my travels and many of the pictures you will see today reflect or continue this theme because I love photographing mist and fog.

The pictures don’t feature famous monuments or “must see sights in Romania” but rather let you show what I saw during my travels.
