The photo book you hold in your hands today covers the eastern part of Sicily with a small chapter covering The Valley of the Temples.

Inside this album you will find pictures from Catania, Taormina, Isola Bella, Acitrezza, Marzamemi, Noto, Etna, Ragusa, Modica, Ortigia and a few small locations like Casa di Montalbano or Scala dei Turchi.

All the pictures have been taken in March 2024 and the reason for  a few “iconic” shots missing like the classic shot from the Taormina amphitheater is due to the fact that work was under way at this location and I did not want to include scaffolds and protection nets.

I have visited Sicily twice, first time almost 12 years ago and I never realised how much I missed it until I landed again in Catania with my backpack and my photo cameras.

I hope you will enjoy this album as much as I enjoyed visiting this special place!
